The following cottages provide wonderful privacy and beautiful views (see each room for details). There is a front lawn to run and relax, play badminton or a family game of cricket. There is a campfire area for your group alone without any disturbance from the rest of our property. You will be immersed in beautiful gardens, fruit trees, flowers and can listen to the birds chirp in the morning. Note: Although we have provided a ramp way with some 4" small steps to access this lower portion of our property, it can be somewhat difficult for the elderly or anyone with a walking disability to walk down or back up to their car.

About the Founder

Lilly's Valley Resort, the very first resort to be built in Kodaikanal, was begun in 1982 by Mr. Raj A. Sukumar. He visit Kodaikanal and felt the place resembled places in England he had seen! Falling in love with the area, he purchased three beautiful acres. He ringed them with eucalyptus trees rather than a concrete wall, and started building the hotel. Later he married an American, Nina, and they have two beautiful children. The family divides its time between New York and Kodaikanal.
